Sorenstam keynotes Greatest event for high schoolers Jan. 7

There is hardly a more accomplished golfer on the planet than Annika Sorenstam, and on Jan. 7, she will be with Greatest Golfer at its first-ever event to help high school golfers find college opportunities. 

Sorenstam is an 8-times Rolex Player of the Year, and 11-times Majors champion. She most recently won the U.S. Senior Women’s Open and is competing this weekend in the PNC Championship family member tourney. 

She will join Greatest Golfer, Farmers National Bank and The Bunker to present the inaugural College Golf 101 Combine. REGISTER AT THIS LINK HERE.

It’s Saturday, Jan. 7 at The Bunker in Southern Park Mall from 10 am - 2 pm. Cost is $75.

This event is for high school and junior golfers to get an up-close chance to learn how to drive your golf passion into a college opportunity.

And we'll also play golf!

Hear from many of the region’s college coaches and college players — including Youngstown State, Clarion, California, Otterbein, Westminster, Thiel and more.

Get tips and lessons learned on finding a path to college that includes college golf. Countless hours of life experiences shared and lessons learned.

For registrants, we'll have golf competitions on the simulators like long drive, chipping, Par 3, Par 5 and more. And we’ll have Double Bogey's lunch!!.
